FOUR WALLS

So many times I've tried to find some peace of mind
There's always hands reaching out as we pass them by

Have we lost all compassion
Or did hatred bring us down
We try to keep ourselves distant
While so many of us drown

So lost, so lost. Does it matter should I care at all?
Should I try to make a change

In these troubled times I can't decide what to say or do
Help me to find some way to make it through

So many people of color who will never get their chance
So many come here for freedom to find freedom isn't theirs

So lost, so lost. I cannot change the world?
But I can change myself - I don't have to follow lies
